Sunrise over Auckland, sheep at the fence.
Cresta Vista sits on 1.2 hectares of elevated, semi-rural land, so the views run right across the city. Mornings start with the sunrise, evenings end with the sunset, and on a clear night the sky is the kind you don't get in town.
There's something for everyone here: the hot tub, the gas fire, a games room for the big kids, a playroom for the little ones. We also have sheep, and if you look you might spot a wild bunny or two.
Main house
Five bedrooms, sleeps up to 14.
Master suite
Super king. Its own seating area for morning coffee with the view. Large ensuite with his-and-hers sinks, walk-in wardrobe. Two floor mattresses for little ones.
Junior suite
Queen. Views across the gully. Ensuite and walk-in wardrobe. Two floor mattresses or fold-out beds available.
Garden view room
Queen. Looks out across Auckland.
The Middle
2 × king single. Twin room, good for kids or friends.
The End
2 × king single. Twin room at the end of the hall.
Upstairs lounge
Queen sofa bed. A small private lounge with a TV and the view. Doubles as a sleeping spot (linen on request).
Guest house
Two bedrooms. Self-contained, with its own entrance, courtyard, open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge, and a parking bay out front for three cars. Sleeps upto 6
Main bedroom
Queen. Sun-filled, with views over the valley at sunset.
Single room
King single + single trundle. The trundle goes up or down as you need it.
Plenty of room to spread out.
The kitchen
Full-size and well stocked: rice cooker, slow cooker, air fryer, Nespresso, herbs, spices, oils and sauces. The dining table seats 8+, plus 3 bar stools.
The lounge
Open gas fire, a big TV, comfy seating and the view across Auckland.
The Cafe
Our Moroccan-style inside lounge. Overflow dining, or somewhere to play games and talk.
The Hangout
Where the big kids go: ping pong, arcade machine, home theatre and an old-school DVD collection.
The Playroom
Toys, books, beanbags and a play mat for the little ones.
Outside
The hot tub, outdoor dining under festoon lights, the gardens and the sheep paddock.

- No smoking or vaping inside or around entrances.
- Events or gatherings beyond your booked guest group need to be discussed and agreed in advance — additional fees may apply.
- No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
- No amplified or general outside noise after 10pm, in respect of our neighbours.
- We have parking considerations for larger groups, these will be provided
