Teemos Retreat is our family-friendly home away from home. It's recently renovated, tucked into a quiet cul-de-sac in one of Rotorua's most sought-after neighbourhoods, and the whole house is yours.
Out the back there's a large private backyard with outdoor games. Inside there's an arcade machine with 3,300 classics, plenty of board games, and a lounge made for doing very little. Hotel-quality linen, electric blankets, a heat pump and an HRV keep everyone warm.
Bedrooms
Three bedrooms plus a sofa bed, for up to 8 guests.
The Mandevilla Room
King. Our master suite, with its own ensuite.
The Camellia Room
Queen. A spacious double with views over the back garden.
The Periwinkle Room
2 × king single. Perfect for kids.
The lounge
Double sofa bed. Folds out with two mattresses, as two singles or a double.

The kitchen
Fully equipped: fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, rice cooker, slow cooker, toaster, kettle and a Nespresso machine. Pantry basics are supplied.

A corner window bench seat, a 3.5-seater, a wingback chair, bean bags, board games and a 55″ 4K TV with the popular streaming apps.
The arcade room
For old-school gamers: an arcade machine with 3,300 classics to keep everyone entertained.
The laundry
A washing machine in the house and a dryer in the garage, plus an iron and ironing board.
The deck and backyard
A table and six chairs on the back deck, overlooking the large, gently sloping backyard.

Secure, with 4 mountain bikes, 2 scooters and helmets, plus room for your own bikes and golf clubs.

Beds and linen
There are 5 beds across three bedrooms and the lounge:
- 1 × king (the Mandevilla Room)
- 1 × queen (the Camellia Room)
- 2 × king single (the Periwinkle Room)
- 1 × double sofa bed with 2 mattresses (the lounge)
All beds have hotel-quality linen, with electric blankets and winter duvets in the colder months.
What's supplied
In the kitchen: tea, coffee, sugar, UHT milk, oil, salt, pepper, basic spices, soy sauce and tomato sauce, plus Nespresso pods for the machine.
In the bathrooms: body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, hand towels and makeup wipes.
Around the house: unlimited free WiFi (4G wireless), a washing machine and dryer, and an iron and ironing board.
